Monster Hunter Wilds DLC Roadmap

So you’ve slayed your way through the main story of Monster Hunter Wilds, geared up in High Rank, and think you’ve seen it all? Think again. Capcom’s just starting with an incredible lineup of DLC updates, seasonal events, and spicy challenge quests that’ll keep your blade swinging for months.

If you’re wondering what’s next for your hunter, now we’ll provide you with the complete Monster Hunter Wilds DLC Roadmap, including Title Update 1, Title Update 2, Event Quests, and the elusive Challenge Quests you don’t wanna miss.

What Is the Monster Hunter Wilds DLC Roadmap?

Alright, let’s break it down. The Monster Hunter Wilds DLC Roadmap is Capcom’s master plan for keeping the game alive and kicking long after launch day.

It’s a full schedule of free content updates; no paid expansion required (at least for now)–that rolls out new monsters, features, seasonal events, and quests over time. Those are your post-launch blueprint for what to hunt when to hunt it, and what kind of awesome loot you’ll walk away with.

And the big stuff is “Title Updates” that bring in iconic returning monsters, expanded gameplay systems like The Grand Hub, and even crossover events with other Capcom franchises.

On top of that, you’ve got weekly Event Quests offering exclusive gear and materials, plus rotating Challenge Quests that push your skills to the limit with set load-outs and time trials.

Okay, next, we move to the timeline and what each drop includes.

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 (Released April 3, 2025)

Capcom wasted zero time kicking things off with a bang–Title Update 1 dropped on April 3, 2025, and it’s already packed with content that’ll keep even the most seasoned hunters on their toes.

If you’ve been itching for a fresh challenge or just some new monsters to beat into stylish gear, this update’s got you covered.

New Monsters Incoming

First up, say hello (or maybe goodbye) to Mizutsune. This bubble-spewing, dance-fighting wyvern is as elegant as it is deadly.

If you’ve faced it in Monster Hunter Rise, you know the drill: slippery terrain, Bubbleblight status, and some of the most graceful attacks in the series. You’ll need to be at Hunter Rank 21 or higher to take on this dazzling beast, so if you haven’t been grinding, now’s the time.

Then there’s Zoh Shia, which finally steps out of the main campaign and into repeatable hunts. You’ll need to be HR 50+ to face it. This thing is a beast in every sense of the word, so bring your A-game (and a couple of max potions, just in case).

The Grand Hub: Your New Hangout Spot

Title Update 1 also introduces The Grand Hub. This bustling social zone is where hunters can gather, plan out their next quests, feast on stat-boosting meals, or just goof off in features like Barrel Bowling. Yeah, it’s as fun as it sounds.

But that’s not all. Arena Quests are now live too, letting you test your builds against specific monsters in set environments for extra rewards. Perfect for min-maxers or anyone who just wants to flex their skills.

This is a full-on content injection. With two new monsters, an entirely new hub, and extra modes to dive into, Title Update 1 sets the tone for what we can expect from the rest of the Monster Hunter Wilds DLC Roadmap. It’s looking really good!

Monster Hunter Wilds Event Quest Schedule (April 2025)

Let’s talk about Event Quests; Capcom drops new ones nearly every week, and they’re your golden ticket to exclusive gear, cosmetics, and juicy hunter rank points.

Now this is where things get real.

Doshaguma of the Hollow

  • Quest Dates: April 3 – April 17, 2025
  • Location: Wounded Hollow
  • Hunter Rank: 16+
  • Rewards: Exclusive Pendant

Challenge Quests are time-limited missions that throw a wrench into your comfy build. You’ll be locked into specific weapons and gear, pushing you to adapt, improvise, and, occasionally, scream at your screen.

Only Doshaguma of the Hollow has been revealed so far, but knowing Capcom, we’re expecting more soon. If you’re used to Great Sword, maybe give the Hunting Horn a whirl—it’s surprisingly satisfying.

Festival of Accord: Blossomdance (Seasonal Event)

This in-game seasonal event transforms The Grand Hub into a blooming spring haven. Expect:

  • Dates: April 22 – May 6, 2025
  • New themed gear and layered armor
  • Exclusive food buffs
  • Limited-time bounties and daily bonuses

Aside from the chance to collect limited-time cosmetics, Festival of Accord: Blossomdance is a great time to stock up on extra materials, power level through Event Quests, and connect with the community.

Seasonal events like this are also when Capcom sneaks in lore tidbits and sneak peeks at future updates; so if you’re a lorehound, this is your moment.

Capcom Collaboration & Update 1.011 (Late May)

Capcom’s cooking up something extra at the end of May. Here’s what’s teased:

What’s in the Update?

Capcom’s still keeping most of the details under wraps, but here’s what’s confirmed so far:

  • A brand-new Capcom Collab quest that ties into another iconic franchise
  • Crossover-themed cosmetics and layered armor for both hunters and Palicos
  • “Other additional features” which usually translates to quality-of-life tweaks, system updates, and maybe even a bonus hunt or two

If past collaborations are anything to go by–like Resident Evil, Mega Man, Devil May Cry–we’re in for something creative and unforgettable.

The community’s buzzing with speculation, from Death Stranding 2 references to a potential Assassin’s Creed Shadows crossover. It’s all up in the air, but it’s going to be a blast.

The Reasons for Collab Events Matter

Collab events are your chance to snag gear that’s both stylish and mechanically unique. If it’s a sword shaped like a blaster or armor that lets your hunter channel a completely different game’s aesthetic, these rewards are limited-time and highly collectible.

The quests themselves are often quirky, sometimes hilarious, and always worth running more than once; especially for the custom animations and dialogue Capcom likes to sneak in.

How to Get Ready for Update 1.011

  • Make sure your Hunter Rank is 50 or higher, just in case the collab quest demands it
  • Clear out your side quests so you can dive right into the new content
  • Stay tuned to Capcom’s official channels for previews and launch timing

Update 1.011 looks like the next big milestone in the Monster Hunter Wilds DLC Roadmap. Keep your schedule clear, because once this drops, the hunt is on.

Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 (Summer 2025)

The hunt isn’t slowing down anytime soon, and Capcom’s already teasing the next big shake-up with Title Update 2, slated to arrive in Summer 2025.

While details are still mostly under wraps, a quick teaser during the March 25 Monster Hunter Showcase got fans buzzing. It featured a splash of water, a low, bone-rattling roar, and the glimpse of a sharp, scaly talon–which, if you’ve got a few Monster Hunter games under your belt, sure looked a lot like the long-lost Lagiacrus.

That’s right, the thunder-spitting Leviathan might finally be making a comeback to the mainline series after years in hibernation. Cue the hype.

Even though Capcom hasn’t dropped the full list of what’s coming, we can count on some big additions. There’s going to be at least one new monster–possibly the teased Lagiacrus–and with it, a fresh lineup of gear to craft, new skills to play with, and almost certainly a few brand-new Event Quests tied into the update.

The developers have been steadily building up the endgame with more challenging hunts, so it’s safe to expect a couple of brutal Challenge Quests that’ll push your builds and reflexes to the limit. We also wouldn’t be surprised to see some updates to The Grand Hub itself, possibly adding new NPCs, seasonal decorations, or features hinted at in earlier dev talks.

If you’re trying to get ahead of the curve, now’s the time to grind out those last few Hunter Ranks and stockpile materials for the inevitable wave of new gear.

And if that teaser was Lagiacrus, it might be wise to brush up on your thunder resistance and movement-heavy builds; because when that monster shows up, it’s not gonna be a walk in the park.

So there you have it–the full scoop on everything we know (so far) about the Monster Hunter Wilds DLC Roadmap.

From the high-stakes battles of Title Update 1 to the upcoming seasonal flair of Blossomdance, all the way to the summer tease of Title Update 2 and that mysterious Capcom Collaboration, it’s clear that Capcom isn’t slowing down post-launch.

If you thought the main story was the endgame, think again. The Monster Hunter DLC Roadmap is stacked with content designed to keep you hunting, crafting, and exploring for months to come; and honestly, we’re just getting started!
